WARREN'S OBITUARY

Warren C. Rozelle, 64, of Clarks Green, died unexpectedly Thursday at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Born in Scranton, he was a life-long resident of Clarks Green. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Buck Rozelle.

He attended Abington Heights High School, Clarks Summit, where he was a talented athlete who excelled at cross country and wrestling. Upon graduating, he then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University.

He built a successful career in banking and was employed as senior vice president at Community Bank, N.A. until his retirement in 2018. After retiring, he served as a volunteer at Allied Services Hospice Center.

In his free time, Warren was an avid bowler and golfer. He enjoyed being a member of the Country Club of Scranton and the Scranton Canoe Club where he formed many close friendships on the golf course.

Devoted to his family, Warren will be deeply missed by his beloved children Laura Rozelle, Philadelphia, PA and Warren Rozelle, Phoenixville, PA. He is also survived by his brother Richard and wife, Barbara, Clarks Summit, twelve nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousins. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence B. Rozelle and Jane Bradshaw Rozelle, his brother-in-law, Carl “CB” Buck, and nephew, Joshua Rineer.

A private memorial service will be held for the family. Friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
